Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern your use of this website and any services provided by The MX Studio.

Last updated: 3 March 2026

Agreement

By using this website and / or working with The MX Studio, you agree to these Terms and any proposal, invoice, or written scope we send you for your project.

If anything in a project scope or invoice differs from what’s on this page, the project scope or invoice wins.

What we do

We build and improve websites, and we offer services like SEO, maintenance, performance work, and other digital help. Exactly what you’re getting will always be outlined in your proposal or invoice.

Scope changes

Pricing is based on the scope we agree on. If you add pages, features, integrations, extra rounds of changes, or switch direction mid-way, we’ll confirm the updated cost and timeline before continuing.

Payment

Invoices are due as stated on the invoice (or within 7 days if not listed). If an invoice is overdue, we may pause work until it’s sorted.

Revisions

Your scope will outline what’s included for revisions. Anything outside that (new sections, new layouts, new functionality, extra pages) is treated as additional work and priced before we start.

Your content

You confirm you / we have permission to use any text, images, logos, videos, and other assets you provide. You’re responsible for the accuracy of your business info, offers, and any claims on your site.

Ownership

Once the project is fully paid, you can use the final website deliverables for your business. We keep ownership of our own pre-built frameworks, reusable components, and internal tooling used to build the site unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Unless you ask us not to, we may show completed work in our portfolio (no sensitive info).

Third-party tools

Your website may rely on third-party services (hosting, domain providers, analytics, email platforms, etc). We’re not responsible for outages, price changes, or policy changes from those providers.

Results

We’ll deliver our work with care and professionalism. That said, we can’t guarantee specific SEO rankings, traffic, revenue, or conversion outcomes because performance depends on competition, industry, budgets, content, and other factors outside our control.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, we’re not liable for indirect loss (like lost profits or lost data). If something goes wrong that we’re responsible for, our total liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid us for the relevant services.

Ending a project

Either of us can end services by written notice. If that happens, you’ll pay for work completed up to that point and any third-party costs we’ve already committed to on your behalf.

Privacy

We handle personal info in line with our Privacy Policy. If you give us any customer or third-party data to work with, you confirm you have permission to share it.

Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Any updates apply from the date they’re published on this page.
