As the Chair of the Managerial Marketing Division at Columbia Business School, Professor Capon teaches the Marketing Strategy core course and the electives Strategic Marketing in the Modern Corporation and Developing and Managing Strategic Customers. He has published more than 80 articles, book chapters and books. His latest books are “Managing Global Accounts,” “The Marketing Mavens” and a marketing-planning workbook, “The Virgin Marketer.” Professor Capon has received the Columbia Business School award for outstanding teaching, as well as the Chazen International Innovation Prize. He has held visiting professor appointments in France, Great Britain, Hong Kong, and the People’s Republic of China.  He is the Founder and Chairman of Wessex Press.




Dean is a senior executive with a record of success at creating and developing new revenue streams within the Digital Media, Publishing, Data Compilation, and Direct Marketing industries. Dean’s experience stems from the Media and Publishing sectors where he was the Founder & Publisher of several early tech-related publications including Computer Pictures Magazine (cult publication for the early CGI sector), Multi-Media Producer and Digital Creativity plus several well-known trade shows, including E3 — now the largest trade show in the video game industry. Dean has extensive entrepreneurial leadership experience growing and developing asset-based entities from startup to exit.  He is a University of Miami graduate.



Paul has over a decade of history in managing teams, plus investing in and running companies in both start-up and distressed situations.  After serving as a U.S. Air Force Captain responsible for over 150 personnel and convoy commander for over 100 missions in Kabul; and Logistics lead in Kandahar, Mr. Capon joined Capstone in early 2013 and worked in the  restructuring industry. In 2015, Mr. Capon founded LunaCap Ventures, a Venture Debt firm focused on hybrid growth capital investing. As Managing Partner, he has led and executed a number of investments and distributed capital to LP’s within the first year. He is also the CEO of Wessex Press, a LunaCap Ventures portfolio company.  Paul holds a B.S. from the United States Air Force Academy and MBAs from Columbia Business School and London Business School. 



With a career encompassing creative, operational, strategic and marketing experience in both the corporate and entrepreneurial sectors, Matt fuses these skills at MXS.  Sports Illustrated has referred to the show he Produced at TNT, “Inside the NBA,” as, “The greatest sports show on television.” After earning an MBA from Columbia University, he served as Chief of Staff to the President of ABC Television.  Subsequently, he Co-Founded the private jet company Marquis Jet Partners, ultimately selling the company to Berkshire Hathaway. He then Founded Varsity Entertainment as CEO and Executive Producer, using his Emmy-nominated experience to create and produce entertainment and informational content for television and corporations, plus online, digital and mobile entities. He earned his B.A. from Amherst College.



Lyn has spent her career specializing in the design and development of innovative digital learning programs. She has served as a senior executive in marketing communications and corporate learning at companies such as Xerox, ProQuest, Ernst & Young, and college publisher Harcourt Brace. Throughout her career she has been instrumental in the launch of successful technology-enabled learning solutions, competency-based active learning courseware and virtual executive education programs for organizations like the World Bank. She has authored and contributed to numerous articles, books and blogs in training and development; including the first edition of “Engaging the Avatar”, using virtual environments for adult learning. Lyn was a co-recipient of the “Innovative Education Services of the Year” Award from Xerox in 2011.  



Joseph is the MXS Sound Editor and Producer in charge of Distribution, controlling the sound, presentation and professionalism behind the crucial Podcast element of MXS. He took an early interest in the audio field, recording guitars and vocals at a young age. He has now seen the recording industry take its recent path towards Podcasts.  Three years ago, Joseph started his own Podcast called “Hysteria Radio,” about the link between mental health and creativity: he was quickly hired as the Director of Production for Mental Health News Radio Network in Virginia. He is also the Director of the Podcast Studio at KOI Creative Space in White Plains, New York. Over the past six years he has been working creatively with the organizations This Is My Brave, MyCounterpane and the National Alliance for Mental Illness.
